Buffalo is a rural community of 15,500 only 40 miles northwest of the Twin Cities in Wright County. Buffalo is a mix of old and new.

It possesses a true "small town feel" with all of the amenities of the big city. Chock full of antiques shops, speciality stores, quaint shops, occasional sales, and retail stores.

Everyone will be busy with walking trails, skate park, tennis courts, lake parks & beaches, picnicking areas, Buffalo Cinema, Library, cross country skiing, bowling, ice skating, area apple orchards are just a few of the recreational activities Buffalo has to offer. Buffalo Heights, Wild Marsh Golf Course and Golfmaster's Driving Range for the golf enthusiasts. Plus there are many local golf courses to schedule that golf outing. Buffalo boasts two main lakes, Buffalo Lake and Lake Pulaski with numerous others in the area. Choose from a small town bar and grill, Mexican or Chinese, pizza (dine in or take out), deli's and many fast food options.
What schools will the kids attend?
Buffalo-Hanover-Montrose Schools has all of the opportunities of a large school district. Buffalo High School is the pride of the Buffalo along with Buffalo Community Middle School and choices of elementary schools.
